At Encompass, we know that children learn through play. Through play, children are free to discover, building creative expression and social problem solving. We believe children will embrace learning when it is made relevant to their world. Our Early Learning programs focus on building the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical skills that will set children up for school success.
We offer Early Learning programs for children 12 months to 5 years old at our North Bend and Carnation preschool sites, in the community, and in the home, including free preschool slots for income-qualifying families through Washington’s Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP). For children 12-36 months, we offer caregiver-and-child Toddler Groups, and for children ages 2 ½ – 5, we offer full and half-day general education preschool classes with some therapeutic supports for eligible children.
For families with children ages 16-30 months, we offer ParentChild+, an in-home early literacy coaching program. We also offer enrichment summer camps for children ages 2-6 in a variety of themes designed to continue children’s informal learning outside of the classroom.
