Melody C.
Originally from Los Angeles, I bring with me a lifelong passion for diversity, empowerment, and breaking generational cycles, now rooted in the beauty of the Snoqualmie Valley where I live and work. With an Associate of Technical Arts in Social and Human Services and certifications in Prevention and Re-Entry Navigation, my work is grounded in psychology, neuroscience, and a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to early learning and family support.
I’m looking forward to collaborating with some of the Valleys greatest champions for children, families, and community, and being part of the Encompass culture: rooted in equity, connection, and authenticity, where the uniqueness of every child and family is embraced. I look forward mostly to developing and nurturing relationships in an environment that fosters curiosity, continuous learning, and true collaboration with the families of our community.
Outside of work, you’ll find me with my son (the two-legged one) and our Shih Tzu (the four-legged one), at the cinema catching a new release, soaking in all things Disney (especially at the California park), or simply enjoying the gift of rest.
