Mental Health Supports for Children

May 27, 2022  |  Behavioral Health, Parent Talks Podcast  |  By Encompass

As parents, sometimes we see our kids struggling and wonder if they would benefit from some outside help such as counseling. But how do we know if, and when it’s the right time and where do we start? What does it look like and what’s my role as a caregiver?

Recognizing May as Mental Health Awareness Month, in this episode of our Parent Talks Podcast, a team of Encompass therapists will talk about mental health resources for children and address the questions they most frequently hear from caregivers when looking for support. We’ll also hear from two parents who share their journeys in supporting mental wellness for their kids.
