Toddlers’ exploration of new foods through play
In partnership with The Village Project, this opportunity is for 12- to 24-month-old toddlers and their caregivers to come and explore foods through play. We will experience getting messy while we taste, touch, and smell a variety of different foods. The goal is to develop sensory-motor and feeding skills while building confidence through new foods. We will also cover cup drinking, utensils, toddler nutrition, and mealtime fun to help support the skills needed for a successful transition to family mealtimes.
Facilitated by: Ashley Nelson, M.S. CCC-SLP, and Becky DeCou, M.S. CCC-SLP, Feeding Specialists
