Language Lab: Reading & Writing Group – Builders
This group supports children who are ready to build on foundational literacy skills and grow as readers and writers.
Children will practice:
- Reading comprehension
- Story sequencing
- Sentence writing
- Spelling and decoding strategies
- Breaking words into sounds
- Organizing ideas for writing
Activities include structured games, collaborative projects, and guided practice that help children strengthen language, literacy, and confidence.
Ages: 5 – 7 years
Group Size: 4 – 5 children
Dates: August 4 – 20
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays | 9:00 – 10:15 am
Location: CDC – Downstairs Conference Room
