Camp Level Up: Board & Video Games
A therapeutic summer camp that uses games to teach important social, emotional, and self-regulation skills. Board games, video games, and cooperative challenges become tools for learning. With therapist support, children practice managing emotions, navigating social situations, and building awareness of their thoughts and bodies while having fun with peers.
Younger Group (Ages 4–6):
Focus areas include:
- Turn-taking
- Flexible thinking
- Early self-regulation
- Cooperative play
- Foundational social communication
Older Group (Ages 7–10):
Children will work on:
- Emotional regulation
- Managing winning and losing
- Negotiating roles in group play
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Healthy gaming habits and introductory online safety
Ages: 4 – 6 years and 7 – 10 years
Dates: July 27 – August 6 | 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Schedule: Monday to Thursday
Location: Early Learning Center, North Bend
