At Encompass, we know that children learn through play. Through play, children are free to discover, building creative expression and social problem-solving. We believe children will embrace learning when it is made relevant to their world. Our Early Learning programs focus on building the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical skills that will set children up for school success.
We offer Early Learning programs for children 12 months to 5 years old at our North Bend and Carnation preschool sites, in the community, and in the home, including free preschool slots for income-qualifying families through Washington’s Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP). For children 12 – 36 months, we offer caregiver-and-child Toddler Groups, and for children ages 2.5 – 5, we offer full and half-day general education preschool classes with some therapeutic supports for eligible children.
For families with children ages 16 – 30 months, we offer ParentChild+, an in-home early literacy coaching program. We also offer enrichment summer camps for children ages 2.5 – 6 in a variety of themes designed to continue children’s informal learning outside of the classroom.
