Nela has worked in the social services field for over 30 years, and has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, as well as a Head Start Management Fellowship from UCLA Anderson School of Business. For her, the best part of working at Encompass is the people who make it a place where all are welcomed regardless of life circumstances and children are loved and cherished. She believes that every community should have an organization like Encompass in it. Nela and her family live in beautiful Snoqualmie Valley where she loves to walk and hike with her two dogs, catch a movie, or go out for a lovely meal and take in our amazing views.
