After growing up in St. Louis, MO and attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, Melissa moved to the Seattle area in 2006. In 2010, she and her husband moved to the Bay Area, but after having their first daughter decided to settle back down in North Bend in 2013. Melissa’s joined the Encompass team because it was the first place her family felt acceptance and support after participating in the Birth to Three program. It was a natural way to give back and assist other families. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters and two spirited dogs.
