Annalisa R., MA, CCC-SLP
Annalisa earned her degree in speech and language pathology in August of 2000 from Northwestern University, ranked as one of the top schools in the nation in the field. She has worked for Encompass as a clinic-based therapist since 2013. Annalisa is DIR-Floortime certified, holding a basic certificate through ICDL and a level 1 certificate through Profectum. Annalisa loves play-based therapy and encourages parent participation (or parent as the main therapist!) whenever possible. Annalisa focuses her therapy on developmental principles, using relationship-based connection and honoring individual differences and interests to remove learning barriers. Her special interests include working with autistic students and helping students who have multiple sound errors. In her personal life Annalisa is a member of the Baha’i Faith and spends much of her free time working on community building. She also loves to spend time with her two children and husband, going for walks, exploring new places, and finding new coffee shops.
