North Bend, WA – On November 2, Encompass honored longtime Board Member Katherine Ross with the title of Emeritus Board Member. Encompass Executive Director Nela Cumming and Board President Joan Vaughn presented Ross with an award for her years of service onstage at the 2019 Encompass Autumn Gala.

Encompass honors Board Members who have shown exceptional dedication to the organization by bestowing upon them the status of Emeritus Board Member when they retire from active Board duty.

Ross has served on the Encompass board since 2010, completing three three-year terms. During her nine-year tenure on the board, Ross has held the offices of Secretary, Vice President, President, and Past President and has worked on numerous committees and special projects.

“Katherine Ross’s integrity, vision, and leadership on the Encompass Board of Directors has made a lasting positive impact on our organization,” said Cumming. “She has been a true advocate for Encompass in the community, giving tirelessly of her time and talents. The Encompass Board honors Katherine’s exceptional dedication and commitment by inducting her into the esteemed group of Emeritus Members.”

Ross joins the company of fellow Encompass Emeritus Board Members Keri Bailey, Pat L Bohan, Jane Danforth Koser, Kevin Haggerty, Charlotte Rempfer, Dick Ryon, and Aleena Schneider.
