Snoqualmie Valley’s early intervention therapy clinic has been enrolling children for nearly a decade.

North Bend, WA. (June 29, 2016) – – Encompass – Snoqualmie Valley’s premier family services provider, celebrated serving it’s 1,000th pediatric therapy client this month.  Now located in downtown North Bend, (next to Bartell’s) the Pediatric Therapy Clinic saw its first patient in 2007. At that time Encompass had one therapist who was serving 7 children.

By early 2010, pediatric therapy services had grown enough to need a new site in downtown North Bend. It contained two small therapy rooms and a motor skills room for toddler play groups. The overwhelming positive impact pediatric therapy has had on children and families in our community led to another move in 2011 to it’s current, larger location where they have continued to expand staff to meet the needs of the greater Snoqualmie Valley.

In 2014, Encompass expanded again in order to facilitate the addition of services offered to include a gross motor room, additional speech therapy rooms, as well as a fine motor room.

“The enrollment of our 1000th child in pediatric therapy is a very rewarding achievement” said Kim Kanzler, Director of Pediatric Therapy at Encompass.  “We are dedicated to our vision of a community where all children thrive and {Encompass} is honored to provide our community with the most compassionate, comprehensive and effective pediatric therapies available today. ”

Today the North Bend clinic has 6 occupational therapists, 2 certified occupational therapy assistants, 1 physical therapist, a fine motor therapist, 8 speech therapists and schedules approximately 130 appointments each week.
