Clinic Office Support
What: Support our therapy and administrative staff at our Pediatric Therapy Clinic on a regular basis with general office projects.
When: We can work with your schedule! Office hours are 8:30 am-5:45 pm Mon.-Thurs., 8:30 am-4:45 pm Fri.
Where: Encompass Pediatric Therapy Clinic, 209 Main Ave S, North Bend, WA

What: Represent Encompass at a booth at community events
When: Select weekends during the summer months
Where: North Bend and Snoqualmie
Minimum age: 16We are seeking a volunteer lead for those upcoming events approximately once a month. This person would be trained to set up an Encompass table and share about our services with the public.
Community Flyer Outreach
What: Distributing flyers to locations around the community
When: Once per month
Where: Community locations
Minimum age: 16Want to explore new or familiar areas of your community? We are looking for assistance with delivery of flyers throughout North Bend, Snoqualmie, Fall City, Carnation, and Duvall. You can do this whenever you have time during the day! Alternatively, help us post the opportunities online, from your home or our office.
Mystery Reader
What: Surprise our preschoolers at the end of the day by reading a story. The kids are always happy to see a new face, and you can choose from our books or bring your own.
When: Reading slots available Mondays-Thursdays at 3:40 pm

What: Helping out in our preschool classrooms
When: one day per week (Monday through Friday), 9:00 am-12:00 pm or 1:00-4:00 pm

Minimum age: 14Want to help out in the classroom? Kids love spending time weekly with you, and teachers welcome an ongoing helper. Assist the teachers with learning centers, classroom management, projects, reading, playing and having fun. The benefits? Children get one-on-one support to hit their developmental milestones, and you get to learn more about early childhood development, positive discipline, and executive functioning. Explore a new career, elevate your skill set or showcase your talent…but most of all, make a difference in children’s lives.
Quarterly Toy Cleaning
What: Keep our toys and therapy equipment cleaned and sanitized so that they are ready to help children and therapists when needed.
When: Come in for 2-3 hours on a quarterly basis, or for 1-2 hours monthly – on your schedule!

What are the age requirements for volunteering?
While the minimum age requirement can vary based on the volunteer activity, generally you must be 14 years old to volunteer at Encompass.
How do I sign up to volunteer?
The first step is to fill out a Volunteer Application online. Once we have received and processed your application, our Volunteer Program Manager will contact you for the next steps.
What training and support is provided to volunteers?
Once your application has been processed, volunteers receive an orientation to Encompass by our Volunteer Program Manager and are provided with hands-on training from program staff as needed.
Do you have opportunities on evenings or weekends?
Yes! We need volunteers for Parents’ Night Out, community outreach events, and fundraising events, many of which occur on weekends and/or evenings. Check our Events Calendar for upcoming volunteer opportunities!
