Anti-Racism Resources for Children and Families
As an agency whose whole reason for being is to contribute to a community where ALL children thrive, we wanted to provide our families with some resources to help facilitate vital conversations, important shifts to dynamics, and healthy self-assessment and a path forward. We feel strongly that information is empowering. Below you will find resources, including the voices of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community members who have the lived experience and are already doing this important work. We believe strongly in the value of felt safety and know deeply that all people deserve to feel heard, seen, understood, and believed when they share their experience. Our hope is that these resources will help you and your families as you navigate this challenging time. With the families and children we serve, we are listening and holding space for this necessary growth to occur.
