Internships

In order to continue building a community where all children thrive for the future, Encompass is committed to helping support the next generation of providers and nonprofit staff. Our unpaid internships are coordinated and supervised by professional staff, curated to meet individual educational and licensing requirements with practical training. Interns work with staff to outline internship goals and outcomes as well as expectations and requirements for the position. We offer internships in the following programs:

• Behavioral/Mental Health
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Early Childhood Education
• Marketing and Communications
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Speech-Language Pathology

APPLICATION PROCESS

For applicants seeking an internship focused on Behavioral/Mental Health, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology our Clinic staff will review applications on a quarterly basis. Please see the timeframes and review dates below.

Winter Quarter Review: First Monday in November
Spring Quarter Review: First Monday in February
Summer Quarter Review: First Monday in May
Fall Quarter Review: First Monday in August

Marketing and Communications, and Early Learning applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with the appropriate staff as they are received.
