Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT)
Our Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program is available to help children from birth up to age 3 reach developmental milestones. Research shows that when developmental delays are identified and helpful supports are put in place before the age of 3 years, children have a greater chance of thriving in their environment.
The Encompass Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program provides support and therapy for children and families, early in a child’s development when it matters most. Our team uses a caregiver-coaching model to create an individualized plan that fits the unique needs of infants/toddlers and families in your home and other natural learning environments – where children live, learn, and play.
We thoughtfully approach each child’s strengths and challenges and provide the tools for families to support their child during these critical early developmental stages, with a team of therapists, educators, and family resource coordinators.
We welcome you to reach out to Encompass to ask our ESIT team questions. Encompass’ staff focuses on helping families build a foundation for strong relationships and healthy attachments while supporting the amazing opportunities children and families have, to bond through play, learning, and developing daily routines.
If you have questions about your child’s development, Encompass staff are here to support your child and family. Some of the many areas of developmental support we offer are physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, feeding, and behavior. Encompass ESIT also offers specialized support to families and infants who are transitioning from the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) to home. We provide infants with the developmental support they need and caregivers with the adjustment period of attachment and bonding in the early stages of life back at home.
Specialized programs and supports we offer through ESIT are:
