Summer Camps

Award-winning enrichment camps for ages 2.5-6

For over 15 years, Encompass has been the enrichment summer camp of choice for Snoqualmie Valley families. Every year we offer a variety of unique camp themes in categories like engineering, science, art, people, nature, animals, food, and more.

Each camp includes teacher-planned, age-appropriate, theme-based crafts and activities. Encompass provides healthy snacks daily for all campers and activities take place in both our beautiful outdoor and indoor learning environments.

We pride ourselves on our low staff-to-student ratio:

  • As low as 1 staff/assistant for every 6 students

All camps are led by our professional staff and assisted by local high-school and college students, ensuring that your kids are getting a quality camp experience.

Enrollment Information

Register

2.5-3 year-old camps

Mornings only, 9 am-noon: $240/week (Note: July 1-3, $144)

3-4 and 5–6 year-old camps

Mornings, 9:00am-12:00pm: $240/week

Afternoons, 1:00-4:00pm: $240/week; for full-day camps, morning and afternoon camps must be purchased separately (Note: July 1-3, $144)

Lunchtime care is purchased for $25/week; required for full-day campers and optional for half-day campers. Please purchase one lunch care if your child is enrolled for full-day camp. Campers provide their own nut-free lunch.

2024 Summer Camp Descriptions

 

Week 1, July 1-3 – Everyday Heroes

Find out how our police, fire fighters, search and rescue teams help us stay safe. We may even have some special guests!

Week 2, July 8-12 – Engineering

Join us as we learn about designing, building and constructing in unique and fun ways. With hands-on projects, campers will develop problem solving and critical thinking skills for life!

Week 3, July 15-19 – Science

Discover the worlds of birds and insects, dinosaurs, and water. Through hands-on activities, campers will explore the roles these creatures played and continue to play in our past and present.

Week 4, July 22-26 – Cooking

Add some fun to mealtimes and snacks! Campers will experience preparing, cooking and eating a variety of healthy snacks and light meals.

Week 5, July 29-August 2 – Art Appreciation

Learn about lines, shapes, colors and textures. Hands-on projects will give campers opportunities to experiment with a variety of materials to create unique works of art.

Week 6, August 5-9 — Movement/Performing Arts

From jumping and tumbling, to music and dancing, campers will learn new songs, tell stories and move to their heart’s content!

Week 7, August 12-16 – Space

Sky-high fun will be had by all! Through educational experiences and crafts, campers will learn about our many celestial wonders.

Awards & Accreditations

The only early learning center in the Snoqualmie Valley to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

We provide Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP) preschool for the Snoqualmie Valley and Riverview School Districts.

We provide ParentChild+ services to the Snoqualmie Valley, Riverview, and Issaquah School Districts.

Winner of Macaroni Kid-Snoqualmie Valley/Issaquah Gold Daisy Award for “Most Loved Preschool” in 2017, 2016, 2015, and 2013.

ParentChild+ is funded in part by United Way of King County.

Preschool rated Level 4 by Washington Early Achievers.

ParentChild+ and Toddler Groups are generously funded by King County’s Best Starts for Kids initiative.

Our Toddler Groups follow the Kaleidoscope Play and Learn guidelines.
