Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT)
Our Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program is available to help children from birth up to age 3 reach developmental milestones. In this program, your family will get matched with a Family Resource Coordinator and a team of specialists to help you and your child in any of the following areas: nutrition and feeding, play skills, sleep, speech and language, fine and gross motor skills, and behavioral and emotional development, as needed. All of our interventions rely on evidence-based practice, ensuring that your family is getting top-quality care.
ESIT is the Washington State Department of Early Learning’s program created to be the first point of contact for parents concerned about their child’s development. The program uses a parent coaching model, providing regular education and support to caregivers as they navigate their child’s care. Our staff supports the whole family’s needs by providing resources and advocating for both the child and the family.
