Teens 11-15 are invited to come learn how to be the best babysitters they can be. In this course, you will learn about parent expectations, child development, personal safety, nutrition, home security, fire prevention, telephone tips, infant care, toys and activities, sitter responsibilities, and the Heimlich Maneuver.

Cost: $48 per child.

As the temperatures cool and our Pacific Northwest

As the temperatures cool and our Pacific Northwest weather becomes more unpredictable, our North Bend/Snoqualmie toddler groups are moving inside.

We will continue to meet on Tuesdays at 9:00 am but have moved to the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Activity Center at 1450 Boalch Ave NW, North Bend.

Carnation will continue to meet on Fridays at Tolt Congregational Church.

Encompass is pleased to offer a fall session of our Infant Massage class facilitated by Danielle Carragher, Encompass Physical Therapist and Certified Instructor of Infant Massage. Offered Wednesday mornings in Duvall, this four-week class is for babies up to 12 months and their caregivers and will include massage strokes, touch relaxation, bonding techniques, working massage into daily life, and more.

We are delighted to have Erica Swedberg, RN, IBCLC, a certified Lactation Consultant, join us for this class. She will be available to answer questions and provide support about all things related to infant feeding. She will also provide a scale for caregivers to weigh their baby if they choose.
