Parents and caregivers report that they feel helpless and don’t know how to support their children when horrible things happen in our world. In this 60-minute workshop, parents/caregivers will learn about the importance of “holding space” for children who are hurting. We will explore ways to provide support and emotional safety when kids are struggling with big emotions like anger, fear, and grief.
This workshop is hosted in collaboration with the Empower Youth Network and Trail Youth and will be presented by Encompass Behavioral Health Director Megan Walsh, MSW, LICSW.
This webinar is free, but registration is required.
