Exposure to lead can seriously harm a child’s health, including damage to the brain and nervous system, slowed growth and development, learning and behavior problems, and speech and hearing problems. But exposure can be prevented.

 

During this virtual 90-minute session, parents and caregivers will learn:

  • What is lead?
  • Where it is found?
  • How does lead affect children’s bodies?
  • How to prevent lead exposure
  • Resources that are available to help families

A $50 amazon gift card will be given as a thank-you for attending.
