Infant Massage Class and Lactation Support

Event Details

A four-week class for caregivers and their babies birth to 12 months.

Come join us for an Infant Massage Class facilitated by Danielle Carragher, Certified Instructor of Infant Massage and Physical Therapist with Encompass. Infant Massage has many benefits for a baby including supporting their development, bonding and attachment, and improving sleep quality. During the class, caregivers will learn massage strokes and touch relaxation, bonding techniques and ways to recognize their babyโ€™s cues, how to ask permission and how doing so builds respect, and how to identify the best time for massage and ways to work it into their daily lives.

We are delighted to have Erica Swedberg, RN, IBCLC, a certified Lactation Consultant, join us for this class. She will be available to answer questions and provide support about all things related to infant feeding. She will also provide a scale for caregivers to weigh their baby if they choose to.
