BACK-TO-SCHOOL REMINDER – Prepare Your Student’s Comfort Kit

August 19, 2014  |  Early Learning, Preschool  |  By Encompass

As part of the Encompass Preschool Emergency Preparedness Plan, we would like each student to have a personal comfort kit. These kits will be stored by class in bins with our emergency supplies and will be returned to students on the last day of class. Encompass maintains ample stores of food and water for emergency situations.

When preparing your child’s comfort kit, please label and include the following items in a 1-gallon size Ziploc baggie:comfortkitfix

1. one pair gloves or mittens

2. one change of clothing including socks and underwear

3. small book or toy

4. personal note to your child

5. family picture

Please send this kit to school with your child on Tuesday, September 2. We appreciate your cooperation and can’t wait for the first day of school — only 1 week to go!
