Speech Language Pathologist

Missy Budworth received her master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Washington. She joined the Encompass team in 2011. Missy is certified in Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk” and trained in Prompt for Restructuring Oral-Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT). Her specialties are social communication, receptive/expressive language delay, motor speech disorders and feeding. Missy enjoys hiking, skiing, camping and playing with her two young children. Missy and her family live in Snoqualmie.

Sheri Dodd, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Sheri received her master’s degree in speech language pathology from The University of British Columbia. She joined the Encompass team in 2009 and previous to that she had her own private speech and language practice. Sheri is certified in Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk “and “More Than Words”. Sheri has also been trained in “Promoting First Relationships” and “Building Executive Functioning in Children”. She specializes in all Birth to Three/Early Intervention speech and language disorders/delays (i.e. autism, motor planning difficulties, late talkers). Sheri enjoys cross country skiing, biking and most of all spending time with her husband and two children.

Lindsey Batz, MA, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Lindsey joined the Encompass team in 2013 and prior to that worked locally in a private speech and language clinic. She received her master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Washington State University and her undergrad from the University of Washington. Lindsey is particularly interested in motor speech disorders and has experience with feeding and early language acquisition. She is married and lives with her husband Steve in Fairwood. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, hiking, and spending time with her English bulldog, Bella.

Marisol Raymundo, M.S., CF-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Marisol joined the Encompass team in 2014 and is bilingual in Spanish/English. She received her master’s degree in Medial Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington. Marisol holds a certificate in Wired for Reading (WFR), a specialized reading program for children with dyslexia or other reading, spelling and writing difficulties. She also enjoys working on speech and language development with our Early Intervention families. She provides our Pediatric Therapy clients services in Spanish and English and specializes in dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) and feeding disorders. Marisol lives with Des Moines and in her spare time enjoys reading, exercising, making music, cooking and spending time with her large family (14 aunts/uncles and 30+ cousins).

Annalisa Roy, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Annalisa holds a master’s degree in speech language pathology from Northwestern University and a BA in developmental psychology from the University of Chicago. She has worked at Encompass part time since November of 2013. Annalisa enjoyed her work in two different school systems, but prefers her current work in the clinic environment. Annalisa loves spending time with children, and especially loves working with children with multiple sound errors. When not at work, Annalisa enjoys being the mom of two school aged kids. She loves reading, and is interested in container gardening, gluten free cooking, not-too-hard hiking, and whatever her children are interested in. She enjoys volunteer work in community nurturing and neighborhood empowerment activities. Annalisa lives in Redmond, WA.

Darlene Logan, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Darlene joined the Encompass team in 2011 and has been a pediatric and adult outpatient occupational therapist since 1996. She has worked in hospitals, private clinics, early head-start programs and home health settings. She loves working with children on the autism spectrum, medically fragile children and all children, feeding therapy and children with developmental delays. Family involvement is important to Darlene in her practice because she believes that, in order to effectively help a child, one must also help the family understand the causes and reasons behind certain behaviors.

Darlene’s experience includes aquatic therapy, sensory integration specialization, Integrated Listening System (iLs) certification, feeding problems and extensive continuing education in autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing disorders. In addition to her work, Darlene enjoys the outdoors, leisurely biking, gardening and spending time near the water. She is the proud parent of two beautiful young adults – her daughter is in environmental education and her son is a member of the United States Air Force and stationed in Germany – and the proud new grandmother of a handsome grandson. While a transplant from Texas, Darlene loves Washington State and currently resides in Carnation.

Amber Johnson

Occupational Therapist

Kim Hall holds her master’s degree in occupational therapy. She credits her mother for leading her to discover this wonderful field of work. Kim found her passion for pediatrics early in her training and it has become her life’s work. She moved to Washington State from Georgia in 1999 to obtain her first job working in the public schools with elementary-age children. She also has experience working in early intervention.

Kim has provided therapy to children with a variety of diagnoses including sensory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay and rare genetic disorders. Her interests include neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT), sensory integration (SI) and handwriting strategies. She has received training in evaluating and treating handwriting difficulties using the Handwriting Without Tears program. Kim lives in North Bend with her husband and three energetic sons. She enjoys climbing mountains, running, cooking and taking care of her nine chickens.

Megan Daniels, COTA/L

Occupational Therapist Assistant

Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Central Washington University and an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant (OTA) from Green River CC. Her specialties include handwriting, fine motor skills, sensory integration and visual perceptual training. Megan grew up in Fall City and attended Mt. Si High, participating in several athletic and community activities during her youth. When she isn’t working with her Encompass kiddos, Megan enjoys skiing (she teaches ski lessons privately), softball, scrapbooking, hiking, boating, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. Megan and her husband live in Issaquah.

Holly Osborn, MOTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Holly Osborn received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from University of North Dakota. She joined Encompass in 2013 after 4 years of experience working in the public school setting. Holly is certified in “Handwriting without Tears” and has training with the S.O.S. Approach to Feeding. She enjoys working with children of all ages and with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders.  In her spare time, Holly enjoys traveling, reading, and staying active. She lives with her husband and Labradoodle and North Bend.

Nan Krueger, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Nan Krueger earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington and joined the Encompass team in 2007. Nan has experience working with a variety of developmental delays as well as with children with feeding challenges. Nan has also been trained in Promoting First Relationships, a program to support the social emotional health of the parent and child. In her spare time, Nan enjoys spending time with her family, dogs and hiking and camping in the Northwest.

Steve Kraft, COTA/L

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Steve is a new addition to our team, joining Encompass in October 2014. He graduated from Oklahoma City Community College in 2002 where he is originally from, but his last place of residence was Columbus, Ohio.   Steve has worked with children since 2002 and has a passion for improving the quality of life for the children and their families.  Steve and his wife, Melissa live in Issaquah and in their spare time enjoy watching movies, playing golf, going to Home Depot, working out, and eating.

Physical Therapy

Nicole Demetrescu, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Nicole holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in history from Whitman College. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Physical Therapy Association of Washington (PTWA), the APTA Section on Pediatrics and several PTWA special interest groups including pediatrics, early intervention, pediatric sports-fitness and neonatology. Nicole has a focus in infant assessment/treatment and torticollis. When not working with children at Encompass, she spends time with her husband and young children, plays birth doula for friends and family and serves on the board of directors for the East Pierce Fire and Rescue Foundation. Nicole and her family live in North Bend.

Sally Rasmussen, B.S. in Education

Special Educator and Infant Mental Health Provider

Sally graduated from Northern Illinois University and has been a special educator since 1991. Additionally, Sally has been trained in the infant mental health programs Promoting First Relationships, Circle of Security and CHERISH (Children Encouraged by Relationships in Secure Homes). Sally has worked with a variety of developmental disorders with an emphasis on autism spectrum disorders. She has experience and/or training with PECS, ABA, TEACCH, Pivotal Response Training, Structured Teaching and Social Stories. Recently Sally has completed intensive infant mental health training to support the social-emotional needs of young children and of foster children. Sally lives in North Bend and enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their very active lives.

Melissa Hammond, B.A.

Birth to Three Program Manager, Family Resource Coordinator

Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Early Childhood Education from Central Washington University. She joined the Encompass team in 2010. Melissa loves building relationships with families and helping them become an advocate for their child. She is certified in Hanen’s “Learning Language and Loving It” and Promoting First Relationships. Melissa has two children that keep her busy outside of work. In her spare time she enjoys camping with her family. Melissa grew up in Issaquah and currently resides in North Bend.

Sarah Johnson, B.S. RD, CD

Family Resource Coordinator

Sarah is a Registered Dietitian who provides nutritional support to our Encompass families and consults with our Pediatric staff on specific cases. She received her credentials from Oregon State University and has experience working with the King County Health Department in addition to her current role as Family Resource Coordinator in our Birth to Three Early Intervention program. Sarah joined the Encompass team in 2009 and interest is in Maternal and Pediatric Nutrition. She lives in Snoqualmie with her husband and two children and loves working in the yard, skiing, camping/boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Lewis

Family Resource Coordinator

Laura grew up in Federal Way and graduated from Decatur High School in 1984. Laura joined Encompass in 2004 with a background as a Para Educator in Special Education. Laura is a Family Resource Coordinator for the Birth to Three program and is also the intake coordinator for the CHERISH program. CHERISH supports foster children and their families through building social emotional health. Laura has facilitated Early Intervention toddler playgroups for Encompass and really enjoys getting the chance to support families with young children. Laura enjoys ongoing trainings and working with all of the wonderful therapists at Encompass. Laura is married to her high school sweetheart and they live in North Bend with their four children. When not working, Laura enjoys watching her kids play sports, reading, and gardening.

Maribel Hinkle, B.A.

Family Resource Coordinator

Maribel graduated from UVM in Mexico City in Business Management and is bilingual Spanish-English. In 2005, Maribel moved to Washington and worked as a Sales Manager for the Latin-American division at a company based in Bellevue. She realized that her true passion was to start a family and help others. In 2011, she joined Encompass as part of the first year of the Parent Child Home Program home visiting program. Maribel also worked in the Family Support program and as a lead provider for the Co- Op parent night out program.

Currently, Maribel is a Family Resource Coordinator for the Birth to Three Early Intervention program. Maribel believes that everybody deserves to have the same opportunities and access to resources, so she is passionate about her job at Encompass. Maribel enjoys music, reading, learning about other cultures, volunteering and spending time with her son and her husband. Maribel and her family live in North Bend, WA.

Calye Lacefield, B.A.

Pediatric Therapy, Billing Coordinator

Calye graduated with a BA in Humanities from Washington State University in 2014 and currently is pursuing a master’s degree in Sustainable Tourism from Arizona State University.  Prior to joining the Encompass team in 2012, Calye spent 14 years in a Michigan based hospital system. Her duties there included utilization management for outpatient psychiatry and substance abuse, medical records, and ward clerk on an inpatient psychiatric unit. In her spare time, Calye enjoys playing Ticket to Ride, learning more about volcanoes, and driving on winding roads while listening to Eric Clapton.  Currently Calye works remotely from Lummi Island where she lives with her husband, son, adorable dog, and very loving cat.

Kerry Beymer

Parent Support and Education Mananger

Kerry graduated from Washington State University and has been a parenting educator for more than 20 years. She joined the Encompass team in 2004 and serves as the Parenting Support and Education manager. She is certified in many research and evidence based curriculums including Parenting Counts from Talaris and Circles of Security. Kerry has two children and has lived in the Snoqualmie Valley over ten years. Kerry uses humor and storytelling in her classes in a non- judgmental setting. “Parenting,” she says, “is the most challenging and most important job there is.”

Marnee Crawford, M.A., LMFT, IMH-E (II)

Licensed Child & Family Therapist

Marnee is a licensed family therapist who joined Encompass in 2012 and has provided services in four Encompass programs: Birth-to-Three Early Intervention, Pediatric Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Preschool Education.  She has over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, having worked as an elementary school-based therapist for seven years diagnosing and treating children with mental health challenges.

Marnee has worked with at-risk teen mothers on parenting skills and Infant Mental Health awareness.  She also has experience serving dual-diagnosed pregnant and post-partum mothers and their children at the King County-based Willows Program providing attachment focused Infant Mental Health counseling. The Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health endorsed Ms. Crawford as a Level II Infant Family Specialist. In June 2012, Marnee received certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and is the only PCIT International Level One Trainer participant in the Snoqualmie Valley.  Marnee is a Pacific Northwest native so she loves snowboarding and backpacking with her husband and son.

Rocio Collado

PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy) Coach

Rocio started working at Encompass in 2008. She has more than 15 years of experience working with families, first as a child therapist in Chile, her home country, and at Encompass as a bilingual parent educator and Parent-Child Interaction Training coach. “To observe, listen and help children and parents is my passion,” she says. “Working as a PCIT coach allows me to put my professional and personal experience at the service of these families, so that they can live a healthier and more joyful life.” She is married, has five children and enjoys water sports, crafts, meditation and reading.
