Top-Ranked and Nationally-Accredited Early Learning.
Ranked in the top 3% of preschools nationally, Encompass is the only NAEYC-accredited early learning program* in the area. Our curriculum for 2-to-5-year olds promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical development as well as discovery and creative expression.
Preschool is the traditional term for education for 2 through 5 year olds—but at Encompass, we call it an “early learning program” because it is real school—not something done before school starts.
PARENTS CHOOSE ENCOMPASS EARLY LEARNING BECAUSE
our low student to teacher ratio of 6:1 means your student receives attention from degreed teachers to achieve learning potential. Outdoor play and exploration is vital to brain development—our students play outside everyday (weather permitting). Through various learning centers within our indoor classrooms, children develop executive function skills that are key to success later in life. Daily, students share a family-style meal to reinforce social skills, etiquette and healthy eating. Our highly-trained staff evaluates each student to detect delays and brings parents into the loop immediately for early intervention.

“We now know through research that one of the most critically important periods in a child’s development occurs in early childhood. High-quality early learning programs, such as those provided by Encompass, provide children with a solid foundation and the best possible start in life,” said Rochelle Clayton-Strunk, Director of Education Programs at Encompass.
*The National Association for the Education of Young Children is a non-profit professional organization which promotes excellence in early childhood education. For more information on why NAEYC accreditation matters and how to evaluate an educational environment, click here.
